When you launch #open for the first time, you’ll see the Login screen:
Enter your phone number, tap the Send code button, and we’ll send you a one-time password via text message. (If you already have a code, tap the I already have a code button to proceed instead.)
Enter the 4-digit code in the dialog box and tap the Sign in button.
Phone numbers are used to authenticate users and help us avoid bots and other bad actors. We will never sell your personal information to advertisers or other companies.
After exiting the app, you will not typically be required to sign-in again when you relaunch. If you explicitly select Log Out from the Profile screen in Settings, you will be asked to sign-in again. Just follow the steps above and you’ll be logged back in!
After logging in for the first time, you will be prompted to Allow Notifications—this will enable #open to let you know when you have matched with other players or received chat messages. You will also be prompted to Allow Location Services, which is required for #open to function properly and will enables the app to show you Players in your area.
We recommend allowing both so that we can provide you with the best possible experience while using #open!
